i recently visited housesteads roman fort in Northumberland which is the remains of a roman fort along hadrian's wall. i managed to get photos of longer bricks which i hope to use as inspiration for possible accessories for final products, such as clay stones on a hat, or acrylic on a bracelet.

i have looked at Rei Kawakubo in order to look at how to create texture in fabric. i like the way she uses ruffles to create a 3D, artistic piece. i hope to be influenced by her when creating my own pieces.
