after creating my final piece i felt that i hadn't used stones and felt that this was an inspiring aspect of my project. i decided to create a bracelet/neckpiece using stones. i used some coffee-stained fabric and enclose the stone in between this an a piece of organza. i then embroidered around each stone to define them and keep them in the one place and used the half bleached straps from my second final product for tying the piece. i feel this was a successful way to show off some of the stones i had collected.
